1:1 - Trach/Vent Specialty

Interim Healthcare of NEPA is seeking an experienced, compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse LPN or Registered Nurse RN to assist in meeting the daily needs for a client (1:1) with a trach, vent, and feeding tube. Must be comfortable with mechanical lifts and providing personal care as needed.

 Job Details for the Licensed Practical Nurse LPN (or Registered Nurse RN):

• Competitive Salary; discussed at time of interview
• Specialty: Trach and Vent - WILLING TO PROVIDE TRAINING
• Hours: Weekdays and Weekends 3p-11p and 11p-7a
• Part Time or Full Time hours available
• 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratios

Minimum responsibilities for the Licensed Practical Nurse LPN (or Registered Nurse RN):

• Provide medical and personal care to assigned patient
• Administer medicine, inspect wounds, and change dressings
• Assist with personal grooming and hygiene tasks
• Collaborate with RN supervisor to ensure all patient needs are met
• Help educate other caregivers and family members on how to care for the patient
• Monitor patients and continue to report back to case supervisor

Minimum requirements for the Licensed Practical Nurse LPN (or Registered Nurse RN):

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program and active LPN license in Pennsylvania
• One (1) year experience working in a personal care setting; required
• One (1) year hands on experience with Trach and Vent; preferred
• CPR certification; preferred
• Driver's License; preferred
• Clinical proficiency in nursing, strong communication skills and compassion
